The pressure rollers with pneumatic weighting contour over the driven
roller for more contact over the film. The cylinders that tighten the
pressure rollers are controlled by the pressure regulator. The pressure is
generally set to 30 psi.
To adjust the roller spacing:
1.
Close the Open/Close air valve for the pressure rollers.
2.
Loosen the positioning handknobs on the rollers to be
repositioned.
3.
Slide the rollers to the desired location.
It is recommended to space the rollers evenly over the film. If the film
is especially narrow, the extra rollers may be moved to the side out of
the way.
4.
Tighten the positioning hand knobs to lock the rollers into
place.
5.
Open the Open/Close air valve for the pressure rollers.
