a.
Ensure the jaws are closed and the linkage is in the
horizontal position.
b.
Remove the proximity switch housing.
c.
Loosen the two (2) hex nuts on the proximity switch.
One (1) hex nut outside the housing and one (1) hex nut inside the hous-
ing.
d.
Turn the proximity switch IN (toward the carrier
shaft) until the LED turns ON.
When the LED comes on turn about 1/8 turn more to ensure the proxim-
ity switch maintains the reading during machine operation.
e.
Tighten the hex nuts to lock the proximity switch in
position.
f.
Install the proximity switch housing.
5.Reset Machine
a.
Remove E-Stop and press Reset.
b.
From the Manual screen, press Open Jaw then press
Home Jaws and observe the movement of the drive
linkage.
The linkage should move Above center, then Below center three (3)
times during the homing process and then return to a jaws fully open
position.
c.
From the Manual screen, press Close Jaw.
Note the jaw linkage position. Linkage should be in the horizontal posi-
tion. Proximity switch LED should be ON.
d.
From the Manual screen, press Open Jaw.
e.
From the Machine Setup 1 screen, set Servo Jaw
Opening to 174 mm.

MPORTANT
If a stager is installed, the maximum stager setting is
•
160mm and the minimum servo jaw opening is 160mm.
If the stager setting is greater than 160mm or the servo
jaw setting is less than 160 mm there will be mechanical
interference resulting in damage to the stager.
f.
From Machine Setup 2 screen:
1. Enter Jaw settings, From 80 To 280 degrees.
2. Set Jaw Seal Air to 300 ms.
