Quali-Seal to
Resistance

HOW TO CHANGE END SEAL SYSTEMS
To change sealing systems, the front and rear sealing jaw assemblies
must be removed from the carriers.
1. Turn all power to machine Off.
2. Carefully remove the cutoff knife.
3.
Unplug the electrical disconnect for
the sealing jaw.
4. Loosen cap screws and remove the Quali-Seal jaws from
the carrier.
5. If the jaws have a hole punch, disconnect the airline at the
stopcocks and turn stopcocks off.
6. Mount the resistance jaws to the carrier.

MPORTANT
The pin must engage the locating tongue in the carrier to ensure
proper alignment between front and rear jaw faces.
7. If the machine is equipped with a hole punch, connect air
lines at stopcocks and turn On.
8. Tighten cap screws.
9. Carefully install the cutoff knife.

ARNING
Unless power is turned off, 110 VAC is being supplied to jaw
heaters.
10. Install the guards.
11.
Plug in the electrical disconnect for
the sealing jaw.
12. Restore power.

Remove the wires from the
terminal strip in the jaw carrier
OR
terminator box.
Connect the wires to the
terminal strip in the jaw carrier
OR
terminator box.
