MPORTANT
Too little flow control adjustment (clockwise) results in bags
catching on the stripper bars. Too much flow control adjustment
(counterclockwise) results in damaged parts in the stripper/jaw
area. Periodically check this flow control adjustment.
7.
Adjust the bottom flow controls by cycling the machine.
8.
If the strippers close extremely fast, turn bottom flow con-
trol clockwise until the correct speed is achieved.
9.
If a loud noise is heard when the stripper bars open, adjust
the top cushions.
10.
If a loud noise is heard when closing, adjust the bottom
cushions.
11.
Turn clockwise until noise is eliminated.
Verify both cushions are adjusted equally.
The stripper proximity switch, at the rear of the machine, protects the
stripper arms by sensing the position of the jaws. This prevents prema-
ture opening of the stripper arms if incorrect timing is entered in the
machine.
The stripper arms are only allowed to open when the jaws are open to
approximately one inch to ensure there is no contact with the jaws as
the stripper arms open. The switch is factory set. Before adjusting, ver-
ify the speed controls and cushions are set correctly. To adjust:
