REMOTE MACHINE CONTROL
Some bagmakers have the capability of interfacing with remote
machines. The interface allows an external machine such as a conveyor
or cartoner to pause or stop the bagger when it stops and restarts. The
settings of the touchpads are stored in the recipe. The external device
can control bagmaker operations to meet production requirements.
Three touchpads control this feature and they are found on the Program
Setup screen.

Enable Machine Pause 1 and 2
•
Pause Automatic Restart / Pause Manual Restart
Determines whether the machine will automatically restart after
a fault is cleared or whether the machine will have to be manu-
ally restarted.
•
Pause Closed / Pause Open
Determines the type of electrical connection for the remote
machine to the PLC input.
