Turn the adjusting screws to provide only enough pressure
to adequately grip the film while the hole is being
punched.

MPORTANT
For sealed punches, adequate pressure must be obtained to seal
film in the area around the hole. Use Teflon tape on the sealing
surfaces of the guide block and back-up block.

To adjust the location of the punch rod:
1.
Manually extend the punch rod holder to its maximum out
position.
2.
Loosen the clamp screws.
3.
Slide the cylinder mounting plate until teeth on the punch
rod extend 5/16" beyond the guide block.
4.
Tighten the clamp screws.

1.
Open the electrical enclosure.
2.
Turn the temperature controller On.
3.
Turn the potentiometer to the correct temperature.
4.
Close the electrical enclosure.
5.
After a few minutes, use a pyrometer to check the temper-
ature.
6.
Run product on the machine when the required tempera-
ture is achieved.
7.
Clean the tip immediately with a brass brush when it
becomes contaminated.

To run bags without using the hole punch:

This is for sealed hole punches only!
1.
Turn the punch heat control Off.
2.
Turn Off machine power.
3.
Disconnect the punch cylinder air lines at the flow control
valves.
4.
Loosen the clamp screws.
