Dirty pull belts or registration roll-

Placement value is set too high

tered at all.
Bag length in PLAIN FILM mode
is not equal to the final cutoff.
Cause
Dirty sealing bar
Platen set up incorrectly
Tape or back-up rubber is worn
Back seal temperature is too low
Film is too wide or too narrow
Incorrect platen timing
No cooling air
Insufficient cooling
Incorrect setting of last roller on
former
Forming tube back stop set
incorrectly

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Clean with soap and water; dry completely.
Turn registered film ON via touch screen.
Adjust the placement value until in registra-
tion..
For a dark registration mark w/clear back-
ground: Cover back-plate w/white material.
For a light registration mark w/dark back-
ground: Cover back-plate w/dark material.
Inspect sensor for dust or obstruction.

Check the sensor position.
Reset the sensor control unit settings.
Reset the sensitivity.
Adjust the registration roller values'.
Corrective Action
Clean with a soft cloth.
See Chapter : Platen Assembly
Replace if needed.
Increase the temperature and wait for the
heaters to reach operating temperature.
Verify the film is correct for application.
Adjust the setting.
Adjust the cooling.
Increase the air volume and/or decrease
the temperature.
Adjust the roller.
Set back stop 1/16" to 1/32" from tube.
