Adjust the jaw carrier pressure springs.

This will preload the springs to approximately 3/16".
b. If necessary, re-adjust the deflection collars to 2.590"
on both ends of the carrier to ensure the carriers are
parallel and they slide freely.
c. Turn the pressure adjusting nuts until the springs are
compressed to a length of 1-9/16" between the wash-

This will set the final load on the spring.
d. Lock the jam nut on the jaw carriage springs in place.
