Chapter 10 Troubleshooting
AL004:Motor Combination Error
Causes
The encoder is
damaged.
The encoder is loose.
Motor Combination Error Connect to the right motor.
AL005:Regeneration Error
Causes
A wrong regenerative
resistor is selected or the
external regenerative
resistor is not connected.
Parameter P1-53 is not
set to zero when the
regenerative resistor is
not in use.
Wrong parameter setting
AL006:Overload
Causes
The load is over the
rated range and the
servo drive is in a
persistent overload
condition.
The setting of the control
system parameter is
inappropriate.
Wrong wiring of the
motor and the encoder.
The encoder of the motor
is defective.
Checking Method
The encoder is abnormal.
Check the encoder connector.
Checking Method
Check the connections for the
regenerative resistor.
Check if parameter P1-53 of
regenerative resister is set to zero.
Check the setting values of
parameters P1-52 and P1-53.
Checking Method
Set parameter P0-02 to 11 and see
if the average torque [%] is over
100% all the time.
1. Check if there is any mechanical
vibration.
2. Check if the acceleration /
deceleration constant are set too
fast.
Check the wiring of U, V, and W
and the encoder.
Send the drive back to the distributors or contact Delta.
Corrective Actions
Change the motor.
Install the motor again.
Change the motor.
Corrective Actions
Re-calculate the value for the
regenerative resistor, and reset the
values of P1-52 and P1-53. If this
does not clear the alarm, please
send the servo drive back to Delta.
Set parameter P1-53 of
regenerative resistor to zero when
it is not applying.
Correctly reset the setting.
Corrective Actions
Increase the motor capacity or
reduce the load.
1. Adjust the gain value of the
control circuit.
2. Slow down the acceleration /
deceleration setting time.
Correct the wiring.
