63.8. upload log_toRCP
 Description
This command is used to upload a log file from the device to a Remote Copy Protocol
(RCP) server.
 Format
upload log_toRCP [{username <username>} {<ipaddr>} dest_file <path_filename 64> |
rcp: <string 128>]
 Parameters
username(Optional) Specify the remote user name on the RCP server.
<username>
Specify the remote user name on the RCP server.
<ipaddr>(Optional) Specify the IP address of the RCP server.
dest_file Specify the path name of the RCP server. Note: If a user specifies the relative file path, the
path search strategy will depend on the server system. For some systems, the current
user working directory will be searched first, followed by the environment paths.
<path_filename 64>
Specify the path name of the RCP server.
rcp: Specify the path name on the RCP server.
<string 128>
Specify the path name on the RCP server.
Syntax: rcp: username@ipaddr/directory/filename.
Example for full path: user_name@10.1.1.1/home/user_name/desxxxx.rom;
Example for relative path: user_name@10.1.1.1./desxxxx.rom;
Note: No spaces are allowed in the <string>.
 Restrictions
Only Administrator and Operator-level users can issue this command.
 Example
To upload the log from the device to an RCP server:
Zxxx0:admin#upload log_toRCP username rcp_user 172.18.212.104 dest_file /home/
Zxxx0.log
Command: upload log_toRCP username rcp_user 172.18.212.104 dest_file /home/
Zxxx0.log
Connecting to server................... Done.
Upload log............................. Done.
