50. QoS Commands
weight
Specifies the weight value for weighted round robin. The queue will operate in WRR
mode if the port mode is WRR. It will operate in strict mode if the port mode is strict.
<value 1-127>
Enter the weight value here. This value must be between 1 and 127.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure the traffic scheduling on CoS queue 0 with a maximum packet value of
10:
Zxxx0:admin#config scheduling 0 weight 10
Command: config scheduling 0 weight 10
Success.
Zxxx0:admin#
To configure the traffic scheduling on CoS queue 1, with a weight value of 25, on port
1:10:
Zxxx0:admin# config scheduling ports 1:10 1 weight 25
Command: config scheduling ports 1:10 1 weight 25
Success.

50.6. config scheduling_mechanism
Description
This command is used to configure the traffic scheduling mechanism for each CoS
queue.
Format
config scheduling_mechanism {ports [<portlist> | all]} [strict | wrr]
Parameters
ports
(Optional) Specify a range of ports to be configured.
<portlist>
Enter the list of ports here.
all
Specifies that all the ports will be used.
strict
Specifies that all the queues will operate in strict mode.
wrr
Specifies that each queue will operate based on their weight settings.
