The parameter type milliampere allows the user to input the decimal in the CLI
command. The CLI does not restrict the number of input digits, the only
limitation of the inputted digits are the size of the command buffer and the
float-point precision. The user inputted digits will be converted to the floating-
point number and applied to the configuration database.
The default precision of a floating-point number is 6 digits.
For example, input "12.3456", will get a float value 12.3456, input
"12.3456789", will get a float value 12.3457.
Restrictions
Administrators and operators.
Example
To configure the port 21's voltage threshold
Zxxx0:admin#
config ddm ports 21 bias_current_threshold high_alarm 7.25 low_alarm
0.004 high_warning 0.5 low_warning 0.008
Command: config ddm ports 21 bias_current_threshold high_alarm 7.25 low_alarm 0.004
high_warning 0.5 low_warning 0.008
Success
Zxxx0:admin#
17.4. config ddm ports tx_power_threshold
Description
This command is used to configure the thresholds of the output power of the specified
ports. The command configures the bias current thresholds of the specified ports. The
precision of the effective threshold is dependent on the hardware.
Format
config ddm ports [<portlist> | all] tx_power_threshold { high_alarm < milliwatts > |
low_alarm < milliwatts > | high_warning < milliwatts > | low_warning < milliwatts > } (1))
Parameters
ports
<portlist>
Specifies a range of ports to be configured. (The portlist format: UnitID: port
number).
all
If 'all' parameter is chosen, all optic ports' operating parameters will be configured.
tx_power_threshold
Specifies the threshold of the optic module's output power.
