Command Reference Guide
pppoe service-name <name>
Use the pppoe service-name command to use this tag value to filter PPPoE session offers from PPPoE
servers. Use the no form of this command to return to the default setting.

Default Values
By default, no names are specified.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 and Total Access 900
Series units.

Usage Examples
The following example defines a service type that is not to be accepted by the AOS:
(config)#interface ppp 1
(config-ppp 1)#pppoe service-name Service_Name

Specifies a service name by text string (up to 255 characters) corresponding to
the Service-Name Tags under RFC2516. This string indicates an ISP name (or a
class or quality of service)
