set peer <address>
Use the set peer command to set the IP address of the peer device.

There are no default settings for this command.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 Series units.

Functional Notes
If no peer IP address is configured, the manual crypto map is not valid and not complete. A peer IP
address is required for manual crypto maps. To change the peer IP address, the no set peer command
must be issued first; then the new peer IP address can be configured.
Usage Examples
The following example sets the peer IP address of 10.100.23.64:
(config-crypto-map)#set peer 10.100.23.64
61200990L1-35E
Specifies the IP address of the peer device.
