Command Reference Guide
auto-cost reference-bandwidth <rate>
Use the auto-cost reference-bandwidth command to assign a different interface cost to an interface. It
may be necessary to assign a higher number to high-bandwidth links
calculations.
Syntax Description
<rate>
Default Values
By default, the rate is set to 100.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 and Total Access 900
Series units.

Usage Examples
The following example sets the auto cost reference-bandwidth to 1000 Mbps:
(config)#router ospf
(config-ospf)#auto-cost reference-bandwidth 1000

Sets the default reference bandwidth rate (range: 1 to 4,294,967 Mbps).
