email address <email address>
Use the email address command to specify that an email address should be included in the certificate
request.
Syntax Description

No defaults necessary for this command.
Applicable Platforms
This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 and Total Access 900
Series units.

Functional Notes
Configuring this setting simplifies the crypto ca enroll dialog, allowing you to enter the email address only
once rather than every time you go through the enrollment process. Refer to
page 316.
Usage Examples
The following example specifies joesmith@company.com as the email address to be sent in certificate
requests:
(ca-profile)#email address joesmith@company.com

Specifies the complete email address to use when sending certificate requests.
This field allows up to 51 characters.
