FUEL INJECTOR

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Refer to the
subsection for component and connector loca-
tions.
Fuel Injector Leak Test
Carry out the FUEL PUMP PRESSURE TEST
detailed in the FUEL TANK AND FUEL PUMP
section.
Fuel Injector Input Voltage Test
Remove the RH side panel. Refer to
section.
To reach the rear injector, disconnect the fuel line.

Disconnect the fuel injector electrical connector.
Turn on ignition switch.
Set emergency engine stop switch to RUN.
NOTE: Ensure to read voltage before ECM auto-
matically turns off.
Using a multimeter, read voltage as per following
table.

Injector Power Circuit Resistance Test
Remove main relay.
Disconnect the fuel injector connector.
Using a multimeter, read resistance as per follow-
ing table.

If continuity is not good, repair or replace wiring
going to injector.
If continuity is good, perform the
RESISTANCE TEST
.
Fuel Injector Resistance Test
Disconnect ECM connector.
Install the ECM adapter on the ECM connector.
Connect the fuel injector connector.
Using a multimeter, check resistance value be-
tween terminals as per following table.
