mediately after the engine has run.

MUFFLER
Muffler Removal
1. Loosen exhaust pipe clamp.

2. Remove muffler retaining bolts.

3. Remove the muffler.

Muffler Inspection
Check muffler and cover for cracks or other dam-
ages. Replace if necessary.
Check if the rubber support is brittle, hard or oth-
erwise damaged. Replace if needed.
Muffler Installation
For the installation, reverse the removal proce-
dure. However, pay attention to the following.
Install new exhaust gasket.
