Op. 10 103 70

Loosen the bolts and remove the flywheel.

BACKPLATE AND REAR OIL SEAL

1. Loosen the two starter retaining nuts and remove

the starter.

2. Loosen the flywheel housing retaining bolts and

remove the housing.

3. Remove the oil seal.

The oil seal may adhere to the flywheel housing

and be removed with the housing.

CRANKSHAFT AND MAIN BEARING

1. Remove the retaining bolts, 1, through the

crankcase cross members.

NOTE: You must remove the two socket head bolts

in the rear cross member.

2. Slide out the crankshaft and main bearing
