Brake Caliper and Disc Removal
The skid steer must be properly supported with all
four wheels off the ground.
1. Remove the rear axle assembly and slide to the
front to loosen the drive chain.
2. Remove the rear drive chain from the drive
sprocket and push chain to the rear.
3. Remove the brake disc retaining ring, 1.
4. Loosen the caliper retaining hardware, 2, from in-
side the cab. Thread the two bolts from the out-
side caliper assembly, 3. DO NOT remove bolts
from caliper support at this time.
5. Remove the outside brake disc, 4.
6. Remove the brake caliper center section, 1, and
spacers, 2. Remove the retaining bolts.
7. Remove inside brake disc, 3.
8. Remove the brake friction puck, 1, and spacer
plate, 2.
NOTE: NOTE: The spacer plate is thinner than the
friction puck and must be inserted into brake caliper
first upon reassembly.
