PREHEAT GLOW PLUG REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable.
2. Disconnect the LTBL/B wire, 1, from the glow
plug bus bar.
3. Remove the bus bar retaining nuts, 2, and
remove the bus bar, 3, from the glow plugs.
4. Remove glow plugs, 4, from the head.
PREHEAT GLOW PLUG INSTALLATION
1. Install the glow plugs into the head and, using
new sealing washers, torque to 15 - 19 N·m
(11 - 14 ft. lbs.).
2. Reinstall the bus bar to the glow plugs.
3. Reconnect the LTBL/B wire to the glow plug bus
bar.
4. Reconnect the negative (–) battery cable.
