REINSTALLATION
1. Clean all previously sealed surfaces; motor
mounting flange, seal plate, hardware and chain
case opening, final drive cover, brake discs re-
taining bolts and washers.
When resealing, use a noncorrosive silicone
sealer to prevent rust and corrosion of parts after
assembled.
2. Place a bead of New Holland Ultra-Blue silicone
sealer around the face of the motor mounting
flange, 1, the inner face of the seal plate at 2, and
under the heads of the motor attaching bolts.
3. Align and install the motor and seal plate in the
chain case side sheet. Install the attaching bolts,
drawbolt adjusters, 3, lock washers and nuts, 4.
Do not tighten at this time.
4. Install drive sprocket, 1, and retain with the snap
ring at 2, that was previously removed. Install pri-
mary drive chain, 3. This chain has no connector
link.
5. Adjust the motor drawbolts to obtain a
6mm (1/4") chain deflection with a 4.5 kg (10 lbs)
force at the center of the chain span. Tighten the
motor mounting hardware, 4, to 101 N·m (75 ft.
lbs.).
6. Reseal the brake assembly retaining bolts and
install the brake discs, 1, and calipers, 2. Retain
the discs to the shaft with retaining ring, 3.
7. Torque the brake assembly retaining bolts to 46
N·m (34 ft. lbs.).
