Heater Shutoff Valve Replacement
1. Drain the cooling system enough to drain the
coolant from the core, about 2 liters (2 quarts).
2. Remove the electrical connector, 1.
3. Remove the heater hose clamp, 2, from the
heater shutoff valve, remove the hoses from the
valve and cap hoses.
4. Remove the heater shutoff valve securing bulb,
3, and remove the valve.

Heater Fan Assembly Replacement
1. Remove the heater core retaining hardware and
pivot the core away from the fan support.
2. Disconnect the fan power wire, 1.
3. Remove the retaining hardware for the fan and
motor assembly, 2.

Heater Hose to Engine Connections
1. Heater hose from the heater core to the front
plug, 1.
