SECTION 82 - FRONT LOADER (BOOM AND MOUNTING PLATE)

ATTACHMENT MOUNTING PLATE

Op. 82 100 70

1. Remove any attachment from the loader mount-

2. Lower the boom to the lowered position.

3. Tilt the mounting plate forward until the face is

level with the ground.

4. Remove the cylinder mounting plate pivot pins.

Remove the pin retaining bolts, 1, and slide the

pins from the mounting plate and cylinders.

5. Loosen the mounting plate to boom pivot pin

hardware, 2. Do not remove bolts at this time.

6. With a soft-faced sledge hammer strike the

mounting plate pivot area at 3. This will free up

the tapered pivot pin in the boom link.

7. Remove the pivot pin retaining hardware and re-

move the tapered pin.

Support the mounting plate during removal to

prevent dropping of plate when pins are re-
