Primary Drive Chain and Sprocket Removal

The primary drive chain and sprocket assembly con-

nects the hydrostatic motors to the final drive chains

at the intermediate drive shaft assembly.

10. Remove the final drive chains, 1, from the drive

sprocket at 2.

11. Removal of the brake assembly is required to

gain access to the primary drive chain and

a. Remove the brake disc retaining ring at 1.

b. Loosen the brake caliper retaining hardware,

2, from inside the cab area, and thread the

bolts from the outside caliper, 3. Remove the

caliper and outside disc, 4.

c. Remove the caliper center section and

spacers, 1, along with the inner brake disc, 2.
