Starting the engine – with the hand-held control
You can only start the engine when bridging plugs are inserted in all sockets
that are not required;
Risk of crushing due to turning wheels
When you start the engine, no persons may be within the steering range of
the 3rd and 4th axle lines. These axle lines can be briefly steered during the
start of the engine; sometimes with five seconds delay.
All inspections required before starting the engine must be carried out;

You can also start the engine if the ignition in the driver's cab or crane cab
is switched on.
Wait until the lamps (1) and (2) light up.
If the lamp (2) does not light up or flash after about 20 seconds, there is a

malfunction;

Press the (3) button once – the engine starts.
If the hand-held control is connected to the superstructure, you cannot drive
the power units from the crane cab.
