This section only applies to the standard hydraulic emergency operation.
If the truck crane is equipped with an hydraulic emergency operation
system to BGR 159;

In hydraulic emergency operation, you can
operate the derricking gear and the main
hoist, e.g. to raise the main boom in the case
of a defective engine.
The hand pump (1), which is activated by
switching over a valve, is used as the energy
source for the crane's hydraulic system.
The hydraulic circuits are switched via the
valves (2).
The crane movements are performed by
operating the hand pump.

Close the valve (4).
Secure the valve with the lock (1).
The hand pump is separated from the crane's
hydraulic system.
For emergency operation
Remove the padlock (1).
Open the valve (4).
The hand pump is connected with the crane's
hydraulic system.
