Commands for Status Monitoring and Statistics

configure sflow agent

configure sflow agent <ip-address>
Description
Configures the sFlow agent source IP address used in the sFlow UDP datagrams sent to the sFlow
collector.
NOTE
This command is available only on the "i" series switches.
Syntax Description
ip-address
Specifies the IP address from which sFlow data is sent on the switch.
Default
The default IP address is 0.0.0.0.
Usage Guidelines
This command allows you to configure the IP source address that the sFlow agent uses when sending
data. Typically, you would set this to the IP address used to identify the switch in the network
management tools that you use. We recommend that you not leave this parameter in its default value.
Example
The following command sets the source IP address to 10.2.0.1 for UDP datagrams sent out by the sFlow
agent to the sFlow collector:
configure sflow agent 10.2.0.1
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.3.0.
Platform Availability
This command is available only on the "i" series platforms.
