Description
Enables the sFlow backoff-threshold feature, limiting the maximum number of packets sent to the sFlow
collector per second.
NOTE
This command is available only on the "i" series switches.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
Disabled
Usage Guidelines
This command enables the backoff threshold feature, which is used to limit the number of packets sent
to the sFlow collector in a second. The backoff threshold is set by using the following command:
configure sflow backoff-threshold
If the number of packets sent to the collector exceeds the limit set by the
configure sflow
command, the sampling rate will be doubled.
backoff-threshold
The backoff threshold is enabled when the
command is executed
enable sflow backoff-threshold
and the sample frequency set by the
command is greater than 0 (zero).
configure sflow sample-rate
The following command disables the sFlow backoff threshold feature:
disable sflow backoff-threshold
Example
The following command enables the sFlow backoff threshold feature:
enable sflow backoff-threshold
