disable transceiver-test

For an Alpine switch:
disable transceiver-test [all | slot <slot number> {backplane} ]
For a BlackDiamond switch:
disable transceiver-test [all | slot <slot number> | msm-a | msm-b]
Description
Disables the integrity testing of the transceivers used for communication between the ASICs and the
CPU on an MSM or an SMMi module.
NOTE
This command is available only on modular switches.
Syntax Description
all
Specifies all of the slots in the chassis.
slot number
Specifies a single slot in the chassis.
backplane
Specifies the backplane of the chassis.
NOTE: This option is available only on Alpine switches.
msm-a
Specifies the MSM module installed in slot A.
NOTE: This option is available only on BlackDiamond switches.
msm-b
Specifies the MSM module installed in Slot B.
NOTE: This option is available only on BlackDiamond switches.

Usage Guidelines
To determine if you have the transceiver test enabled and the failure action the switch takes, use the
command. The following is sample transceiver test output:
show switch
Transceiver Diag: Enabled.
To display the transceiver test statistics, use the
following is sample output:
