configure cpu-dos-protect trusted-ports [add <port number> | delete <port
number> | all | none]
Description
Configures the trusted port feature at a system level.
Syntax Description
port number
all
none
Default
By default, no ports are trusted.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to define one or more ports as trusted ports, to delete trusted ports, or to specify that
no ports are trusted. Typically, you would use the
service protection to only a few of the ports on a switch. Use the
configure cpu-dos-protect trusted-ports delete <port number>
trusted (that denial of service protection should be applied to).
Example
The following command configures a port as trusted, so that denial of service protection is not applied
to port 3:
configure cpu-dos-protect trusted-port add 3
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.0.0.
This command was added to the Summit "e" series of switches in ExtremeWare 7.3e.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
