configure ip-subnet-lookup maskbits

configure ip-subnet-lookup maskbits <length>

This command changes the length of the IPDA subnet lookup mask.

This command is available only on the "i" series switches.

Syntax Description

Specifies the number of maskbits for the IPDA subnet lookup mask. Default is 24.

The default length of the subnet lookup mask is 24 bits.

Usage Guidelines

For a new setting to be effective, system rebooting is needed.

The following example changes the length of the IPDA subnet lookup mask to 18 bits:

configure ip-subnet-lookup maskbits 18

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.0.0.

This command is available on "i" series platforms only.
