Hardware Configurations

The Avaya S8700 Media Server for Multi-Connect Configurations (S8700
Multi-Connect) is derived from the current DEFINITY G3r processor. It uses a
Linux platform on a Intel server. The S8700 Multi-Connect separates call control
from the bearer network and uses a dedicated LAN for transport.
