Viewing a List of IPv4 Address Families
To view a list of IPv4 address families configured for VRF, type:
show running-config routing bgp address-family ipv4 vrf
If IPv4 address families have been configured, a table or list similar to the following example appears:
ruggedcom# show running-config routing bgp address-family ipv4 vrf
routing bgp
address-family ipv4
vrf VRF1
redistribute connected
no metric
no route-map
!
redistribute ospf
no metric
no route-map
!
redistribute static
no metric
no route-map

If no IPv4 address families have been configured, add them as needed. For more information, refer to
Section 13.11.10.2, "Adding an IPv4 Address

Adding an IPv4 Address Family
To add an IPv4 address family, do the following:
1.
Make sure the CLI is in Configuration mode.
2.
Add the IPv4 address family by typing:
routing bgp address-family ipv4 vrf vrf
Where:
• vrf is the name of the associated VRF definition

[Optional] Add one or more neighbors. For more information, refer to
Neighbor".
4.
[Optional] Add one or more redistributions. For more information, refer to
Redistribution".
Type commit and press Enter to save the changes, or type revert and press Enter to abort.
