Chapter 19 Annex Parameters
ipx_frame_type
defines framing used for IPX packets on the Ethernet interface.
Type Annex
Values raw802_3, ethernetII, ccitt802, ccitt802snap
Default raw802_3
Lists Annex Only, IPX
ipx_security
controls whether IPX security is enabled on the port.
Type Async
Values enabled or disabled
Default disabled
Lists Async Port, Security
ixany_flow_control
treats any input character as a start (XON) character if output has been
suspended by a stop (XOFF) character.
Type Async
Values enabled or disabled
Default disabled

keep_alive_timer
specifies the number of seconds that can elapse between the transmission
of identification packets during times of network inactivity. This parameter
works only for the LAT protocol. The packets serve only as notices to remote
nodes that the host's services are available.
Type Annex
Values 10 to 255 seconds
Default 20 seconds
Lists Annex Only, LAT
lat_key
restricts access to LAT-specific Annex commands, parameters, functions,
and the LAT protocol within the Annex. Each Annex requires a unique key
