clear ip bgp as-number

Reset BGP sessions. The soft parameter (BGP Soft Reconfiguration) clears the policies without resetting the
TCP connection.

clear ip bgp as-number [flap-statistics | ipv4 {multicast {flap-
statistics | soft {in | out}} | unicast {flap-statistics | soft
{in | out}} | ipv6 unicast {flap-statistics | soft {in | out}|

Parameters
as-number
flap-statistics

(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword soft to configure and activate
policies without resetting the BGP TCP session, that is, BGP Soft
Reconfiguration.
NOTE:
If you enter clear ip bgp ip6-address
soft, both inbound and outbound policies are reset.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to activate only inbound
policies.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword out to activate only outbound
policies.

Enter an autonomous system (AS) number to reset neighbors
belonging to that AS. If used without a qualifier, the keyword
resets all neighbors belonging to that AS. The range is 1 to
65535.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords flap-statistics to clear all
flap statistics belonging to that AS or a specified address family
within that AS.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword ipv4 to select options for that
address family.
