Usage Information Peers that are enabled within a peer group are disabled when their peer group is
disabled.
The neighbor shutdown command terminates all BGP sessions on the BGP neighbor
or BGP peer group. Use this command with caution as it terminates the specified BGP
sessions. When a neighbor or peer group is shut down, use the show ip bgp
summary command to confirm its status.

Enable soft-reconfiguration for BGP.

Syntax
neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} soft-reconfiguration
inbound
To disable, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} soft-
reconfiguration inbound command.
