ethoam endpoint

Creates an Ethernet OAM Maintenance End Point (MEP) in the specified MA.
ethoam endpoint mep_id domain {domain_name | mac_address} association association_name direc-
tion {up | down} {port slot/port | linkagg agg_num}
no ethoam endpoint mep_id domain domain_name association association_name

Usage Guidelines
Use the no form of this command to remove the created Ethernet OAM MEP.
The mep_id should be unique amid all those used by or available to the service provider in the speci-
fied MA.

-> ethoam endpoint 100 domain esd.alcatel-lucent.com association alcatel-sales
direction up port 3/10
-> ethoam endpoint 100 domain esd.alcatel-lucent.com association alcatel-sales
direction down port 3/10
-> no ethoam endpoint 100 domain esd.alcatel-lucent.com association alcatel-sales
OmniSwitch 6250 CLI Reference Guide
Specifies the Maintenance Association End point. The valid range is
1–8191.
Specifies the domain name. For more information on the different
formats of the domain name, refer to

Specifies the CFM system MAC address.
Name of the Ethernet OAM Association. Up to 48 (minus the domain
name length) characters may be used.
Sends CCMs towards the MAC Relay Entity.
Sends CCMs away from the MAC Relay Entity.
Slot and port number to which this MEP is attached.
The aggregate ID to which this MEP is attached.
