Ethernet OAM Commands

ethoam default-domain

Modifies the default Ethernet OAM Maintenance Domain (MD). This command is used to modify the
level and MHF values for a VLAN that is part of the default MD.
ethoam default-domain vlan vlan_id level level_num mhf {none | explicit | default}

Usage Guidelines
Use the no form of this command to restore the default values of all the default MD.
Note that the default MD cannot be created or deleted; it can only be modified.
The level of the MD is -1 (no-level) when the MHF value is none.
You cannot add or remove a VLAN from the default MD.
Examples
-> ethoam default-domain vlan 100 level 4 mhf default
-> ethoam default-domain vlan 200 level no-level mhf none
-> no ethoam default-domain

VLAN ID of the service instance monitored by the default MD.
Level of the Maintenance Domain. The valid range is
0–7.
Specifies that no MHFs can be created for the specified VLAN ID.
Specifies that MHFs can be created for the specified VLAN ID only on
Bridge ports through which this VLAN ID can pass and only if a MEP
is created at a lower MA level.
Specifies that MHFs can be created on the specified VLAN ID on any
Bridge port through which this VLAN ID can pass.
