a Push the negative battery terminal fully onto the bat-
tery terminal post.
WARNING
Incorrect tightening could cause heating of con-
tacts, starting or charging faults, sparking, or
could cause the battery to explode (see 80A,
Battery, Battery: Precautions for the repair,
page 80A-1) .
a Torque tighten the negative battery terminal (8
N.m).
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit the detachable battery tray partition.
a Refit the battery cover at the front, ensuring that the
clips are unlocked by a quarter of a turn.
a Ensure that the clips are properly fitted into the
notches (12) .
a Align the back of the battery cover (13) on the bat-
tery tray.

a Ensure that the battery cover is properly fitted on the
battery tray at (14) .
a Clip on the back of the battery cover.
a Lock the battery cover clips by a quarter of a turn.

a Refit the side closure panel component.
a Lock the clips of the side closure panel component a
quarter of a turn.
