Battery terminals: Removal - Refitting
V4Y or V9X
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit:
- the "fuse box - battery terminal" assembly,
- the wiring channel,
- the wiring.
WARNING
Incorrect tightening could cause heating of con-
tacts, starting or charging faults, sparking, or
could cause the battery to explode (see 80A,
Battery, Battery: Precautions for the repair,
page 80A-1) .
a Torque tighten the wiring nuts on the fuse box (8
N.m).
a Refit the fuse box bracket.
a Connect the connector.
a Clip the connector onto the wiring channel.
a Push the positive battery terminal fully onto the bat-
tery terminal post.
a Ensure that the battery's positive terminal is correct-
ly oriented.
WARNING
Incorrect tightening could cause heating of con-

could cause the battery to explode (see 80A,
Battery, Battery: Precautions for the repair,
page 80A-1) .
a Torque tighten the positive battery terminal (8
N.m).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Connect the battery (see 80A, Battery, Battery: Re-
moval - Refitting, page 80A-4) .
