Fixing problems
Problem
A user cannot
access a dial
list
Possible causes
The specific list
may not be
assigned to the
user's telephone.
If the user
attempted to use
a feature access
code to access
the list, they may
have dialed the
incorrect feature
access code.
If the user
attempted to
press a feature
button, they may
have pressed the
incorrect feature
button.
Adding Abbreviated Dialing Lists
Solutions
Resolution:
1. Type display station
nnnn, where nnnn is the
user's extension. Press
Enter.
2. Review the current settings
of the List1, List2, and List3
fields to determine if the list
the user wants to access is
assigned to their telephone.
Resolution:
1. Type display
feature-access-codes
and press Enter.
2. Verify that the user is dialing
the appropriate feature
access code.
Resolution:
1. Type display station
nnnn, where nnnn is the
user's extension. Press
Enter.
2. Review the current feature
button assignments to
determine if the user was
pressing the assigned
button.
