Multimedia
Indicates whether the vector should receive early answer treatment for multimedia calls. This
only applies if the Multimedia Call Handling field is y. This field does not appear for S8700
Series IP-Connect.
Valid entries
y/n
Name
Represents the vector name.
Valid entries
Up to 27 alphanumeric characters.
Up to 15 alphanumeric characters
(for S8300 Media Server, S8700
Series IP-Connect only)
Number
A display-only field when the screen is accessed using a change or display administration
command.
Prompting
A display-only field indicating whether, on the System-Parameters Customer-Options screen,
the Vectoring (Prompting) field is y.
Usage
If you expect this vector to receive multimedia calls, set
this field to y. If this value is y, the call is considered to
be answered at the start of vector processing, and billing
for the call starts at that time. See
Calling
on page 285 for more information.

This is an optional field.
If ~r can be used to activate
Network Call Redirection if, on the
System-Parameters
Customer-Options screen, the
ISDN Network Call Redirection
field is y.
