This option usually is disabled when the answering DTE is a computer or an intelligent device.

Appears when the KYBD Dialing field is y. This option generates a "CONNECTED" message
to the DTE when the connection has been established. If the KYBD Dialing field is n, the
connected indication is provided by the DLC activating its EIA 232C control lead.

Enter y to allow text messages to be delivered to the
DTE when a call is being answered.
