Instructions
Set up the signaling group for remote office:
1. Type add signaling-group and the number of the group you want to add.

Trunk Group for Channel Selection:
Near-end Node Name:
Near-end Listen Port:
2. In the Group Type field, type H.323.
3. In the Remote Office field, type y.
4. In the Trunk Group for Channel Selection field, type the number of the trunk you set up
for the remote office.
5. In the Near-end Node Name field, identify the node name assigned to the CLAN that
supports the R300.
6. In the Far-end Node Name field, identify the node name assigned to the CLAN that
supports the R300.
7. In the Near-end Listen Port field, type a port number in the 5000-9999 range.
8. In the Far-end Listen Port field, type 1720. See Getting Started with the Avaya R300
Remote Office Communicator for more details.
9. In the RRQ field, type y.
10. Tab to the Direct IP-IP Audio Connection field on another page of this screen and type y.
11. Press Enter to save your changes.
