DLP-H98 Enable Pointer Justification Count Performance Monitoring

In node view, double-click the 15310E-CTX-K9 card. The card view appears.
Step 1
Click the Provisioning > Optical > Line tabs.
Step 2
Click the PJStsMon# menu and make a selection based on the following rules:

In the Service State field, confirm that the port is in the In-Service and Normal (unlocked-enabled)
service state.
If the port is unlocked-enabled, click Apply and go to

If the port is in the Out-of-Service and Disabled (OOS,DSLBD); Out-of-Service and Maintenance

(locked, maintenance); or In-Service and Automatic In-Service (Automatic In Service), select unlocked
in the Admin State field and click Apply.
Click the Performance tab to view PM parameters. Refer to the Cisco ONS 15310-MA SDH Reference

The default value Off means pointer justification monitoring is disabled.
The values 1 to N are the number of VC high-order paths on the port. One VC high-order path per
port can be enabled from the PJStsMon# card drop-down list.
In CTC, the count fields for PPJC and NPJC PM parameters appear white and blank unless they
are enabled on the Provisioning > Optical > Line tabs.
This task enables pointer justification counts, which provide a way to
align the phase variations in VC high-order path and VC low-order path
payloads and to monitor the clock synchronization between nodes. A
consistent, large pointer justification count indicates clock
synchronization problems between nodes.
