Required Tools and Equipment
If you are logged into CTC, on the node view shelf graphic right-click the card that you want to remove
Step 2
and choose Delete Card.
You cannot delete a card if any of the following conditions apply:
The card is a 15310E-CTX-K9 card. To replace a 15310E-CTX-K9 card, refer to the
Cisco ONS 15310-MA SDH Troubleshooting Guide.
The card is part of an optical protection group; see the
on page

The card has circuits; see the
"DLP-H115 Delete Circuits" task on page
The card is being used for timing; see the
page
The card has a data communications channel (DCC) termination; see the
Section DCC Termination" task on page 17-54

Physically remove the card:
Step 3
Open the card latches/ejectors.

Use the latches/ejectors to pull the card forward and away from the shelf.
b.
Insert the new card using one of the following procedures:

can only be deleted after the protect card of a 1:1 protection group is deleted.
