As needed, install a tie-bar or other strain-relief device, according to local site practice.
Step 1
Caution
You must provide some type of strain relief for the ONS 15310-MA SDH cabling.
Step 2
Route the cables to the appropriate side of the shelf assembly according to local site practice.
Step 3
Secure the cables to the strain-relief device using tie-wraps or other site-specific methods.
Step 4
Label all cables at each end of the connection to avoid confusion with cables that are similar in
appearance.
Step 5
Return to your originating procedure (NTP).
