default-information originate

Generate a default route for the RIP traffic.

Syntax
default-information originate [always] [metric metric-value]
[route-map map-name]
Routing Information Protocol (RIP)
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keywords port-
channel then a number. The range is from 1 to 128.
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword vlan then a number from
1 to 4094.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword database to display
messages when there is a change to the RIP database.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword events to debug only RIP
protocol changes.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword trigger to debug only RIP
trigger extensions.
