One-Step Recording via Audix

Group Paging Using Speakerphone

Group paging allows users to make an announcement over a group of digital speakerphones.
Neither group members receiving a page nor the originators of the page can use this feature to record the
conversation. The "audix-rec" button push will be denied and the LED light flutters.
Hunt Group
If a call is answered via hunt group, the parties in the call shall be able to use this feature to record the
conversation. The recording will be stored in the voice mailbox of the individual party who answers the
call.
Hunt Group Queueing
If the audix one-step recording request is in queue, the delay time to start audix recording is
unpredictable. When "queue" is enabled for the audix hunt group and all the audix ports are busy, any
audix recording button pushes will be ignored.
Meet-Me Conference
This feature works with Enhanced Conferencing; parties on a meet-me conference can use this feature.
Conference parties may use selective Display/Drop to drop the AUDIX hunt group extension number
from the call. The LED will go off.
Mode Code Interface
Since voice-mail connections via mode code interface rely on digits being sent over analog ports, the
Audix One-Step Recording feature will not work with this type of connection.

Terminating Extension Group (TEG)

Neither group members receiving TEG calls nor the originators of TEG calls can use this feature to
record the conversation. The "audix-rec" button push will be denied and the LED light flutters.
Transfer
When the AUDIX recording request is in process and the LED light for the feature button is flashing,
AUDIX recording will fail if anyone in the call transfers the call to another party. If the feature fails, the
LED light goes off.
When the AUDIX recording has started and the LED light for the feature button lights steadily, any party
in the call shall be allowed to transfer the call to another party. If the recording initiator transfers the call,
then recording shall be automatically stopped after transfer; if another party in the call does the transfer,
then recording continues.
If two calls both have AUDIX recording in progress, transferring one call to the other will be denied.
